AWFN Activities

The African Wildlife Forensics Network operates a Workplan, designed to ensure that we meet our Objectives.  Our Workplan describes the activities undertaken by the network and is updated annually. 

What we do

Broadly speaking our activities can be divided into three categories: Networking, Wildlife Crime Scene Investigation (WCSI), and Wildlife Laboratory Analysis (WLA).

 
 

Networking

Bringing together wildlife forensics practitioners and relevant global stakeholders.

Wildlife Crime Scene Investigation

Providing guidance and training to first responders and experienced investigators alike.

Wildlife Laboratory Analysis

The AWFN Laboratory Analysis group work to provide support for all wildlife forensic labs across Africa.
